Loving Cup Organic Vineyard and Winery

Located across the road from the Inn, this vineyard is the first in Virginia to be certified organic, and only one of a handful on the East Coast. Loving Cup grows three varieties of white wine grapes, two varieties of red wine grapes, and are trialing seven more varieties for their suitability for organic farming. Pack your picnic lunch to eat while at the vineyard.

Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyard
Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyard is only a three minute walk from the Inn. The tasting room offers a menu of small plates of vineyard to table cuisine featuring local menu items designed to be paired with their wines.

Albemarle Ciderworks and Vintage Virginia Apples
Albemarle Ciderworks is a one minute drive from the Inn. This family business produces artisanal ciders reminiscent of the classic beverages served at Monticello and Mount Vernon throughout the colonial period.
January through August: Wednesday through Sunday from 11 AM until 5 PM. September through December every day from 11 AM until 5 PM.
Wisdom Oak Winery
Wisdom Oak Winery is a family owned and operated winery located just 10 minutes from the Inn. Their wines are produced in small batches to highlight the best qualities of each varietal the vineyard produces with a focus on producing high quality fruit which in turn produces great wine.
February through mid- December until 5 PM.
Potters Craft Cider
Hard cider crafted with zero grams of sugar Virginia apples. Located just 5 minutes from the Inn in the newly renovated historic Neve Hall.
Sunday and Monday from 11 AM to 5 PM and Thursday through Saturday from 11 AM until 9 PM.
DelFosse Vineyard
A 15 minute drive from the Inn takes you to this unique terraced vineyard in the valley of the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Taste their variety of wines ranging from Merlot to Petit Mensang, then enjoy the view.

Veritas Vineyard
Veritas wines are made with the classic old-style principles of viticulture and vinification. The wines are complex and elegant. Visit their beautiful vineyard nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Pollak Vineyard
Pollak Vineyard produces estate grown wine in the tradition of French varietals. The vineyard is located in Greenwood just 15 minutes from the Inn.

Brew Ridge Trail
The trail has taken the brewing world by storm. Visit Blue Mountain Brewery, Devils Backbone Brewing Company and Wild Wolf Brewing Company, Blue Mountain Barrel House, Starr Hill and South Street. Celebrate craft beer!
Ragged Branch Distillery
Ragged Branch Distillery produces a signature bourbon. Their tasting room, just down the road from the Inn, is located on a knoll overlooking the distillery and barrel barn and offers sweeping panoramic views of the rolling Ragged Mountains.
Tasting room open Thursday through Sunday 12 PM until 6 PM. Check the website for variations in hours of operation.
